Why CecilIA? The answer is actually hidden in my own name.
Cecilia becomes CecilIA. The last two letters, IA, stand for Intelligence Artificielle in French, or Intelligenza Artificiale in Italian, in short, AI. Which happens to be exactly what I work with every day.
Yes, confusing. I communicate mostly in English, and my own background is German speaking. So why French and Italian? Honestly, no strategic reason. It just sounded right.
It wasn’t a long branding process either. I didn’t spend three months testing names. I was at a café in Paris, looking at branding companies, and then it just popped out, CecilIA. I remember thinking, yeah, let’s go.
Is it the most creative name out there? Probably not. But somehow it fits. International, a little confusing, connected to AI, and very me.
I think that says something bigger too. Not every decision needs months of thinking to be right. Sometimes it just needs to feel right enough to start.
So that’s the story behind CecilIA. Not a strategy. A feeling, and a let’s go.
